Easter

Easter is this Sunday and I love everything about it. Many churches have sunrise services, the service is all about how much God loves us and sent his son to die for our sins. But then he is not dead, he is risen and that's why we celebrate Easter.

Halloween

I am excited because this Sunday is Halloween. My girlfriend, Erikka, is coming to stay and we are planning a lot of fun this weekend with other friends. Most likely we will watch a marathon of scary movies and do other things. I am looking forward to it.

Labor Day Weekend

I had the most amazing Labor Day weekend. I spent it with my new girlfriend, Erikka and her family. We had so much fun that I didn't want to go home. I am crazy about this girl and I think she feels the same. I was able to go to church with her and her family on Sunday and I really enjoyed that. I am looking forward to seeing her again in about a week. It can't come fast enough for me.

Erika

I met a really great girl on a Christian dating site and her name is Erika. I think she is pretty special and I actually got to meet her when I was working at the state fair. We hit it off right away and enjoyed each other's company. I am planning on going to her town on Labor Day weekend to get to know her more and her family. I am very excited about this.

Fireworks

We had a friend come and stay with us over the 4th of July. We had so much fun and we got to see two sets of amazing fireworks. Last year we went home to my parents place and that was good but this year it was way more fun spending Independence day in the city where we live.

Christmas Vacation

I can't believe I have a half of a week left of my Christmas vacation. It is going way to fast and I'm not looking forward to starting classes on Monday. The only good thing about it is that I can get started and get through it and then only have one more semester left before I graduate. I pray this semester goes well and has less school work then last semester.

Christmas

We had a pretty awesome Christmas this year. My brother and I were home for about a week and it was great to be home. Most of the time we dealt with a snow storm so my dad was moving a lot of snow over the holidays.
For Christmas I got two seasons of the Office. I absolutely love that show and then I went out and bought another season so now I have them all. I can watch them over and over again.

Chocolate Pie

Today is Thanksgiving and my mom made a delicious feast for us. I am still way too full to even think about eating again but I know later I will be eating my favorite pie and that is Chocolate pie. My mom made a very large one so I plan on having a very large piece of it later. It looks scrumptious.

Thanksgiving Break

It's been awhile since I've written on my blog. I've been busy keeping up with my school work and that takes a lot of my time. Now I have a week on for Thanksgiving break. My brother and I are heading home for a few days to spend Thanksgiving with our parents. We always look forward to going home and we love the home cookin my mom makes.

Disney Tickets

It has been so long since I have been to Disney World. I think about it quite often and dream about being able to go back again sometime soon. It would be so much fun to go down there around Thanksgiving or Christmas. What a great way to spend the holidays. Often you see that they have special things going on at those times of the year. I would love to purchase Disney Tickets to be able to see the Christmas parade. That would be the best Christmas present ever. I hope someday I will be able to or even when I have a family of my own to spend Christmas that way.

Memorial Day

How do you celebrate Memorial Day. When I was younger my parents would take us to the grave sites of loved ones. It didn't happen every year but I do remember a couple of times. It is a great time to remember loved ones who have gone on before us and also to remember the men and women who have fought for our country.

Memorial Day Weekend

On Memorial Day weekend we had some friends over and we barbecued New York strips, burgers and hot dogs. It was so amazing how well everything tasted. On holiday weekends like this, especially in the warmer weather, it is fun to grill out and be with friends.

Halloween Costumes

I love it when Halloween is around. My brother and I love to search for the perfect Halloween Costumes. There are so many to choose from and it can be kind of hard sometimes. I know of a family that gets Halloween costumes for their entire family each year. They all dress up and they have the same theme going throughout the family. For example zombies, they will each be dressed up as a different zombie, it is pretty cool. We really get into decorating and dressing up for that night. We get a bunch of friends involved in doing it too. It can be pretty fun.

Easter Weekend

I am about ready to hit the road with my brother and head home for the Easter weekend. It is going to be so great to be home and away from this town I live in. Getting together with friends and family will be a nice change. I'm also looking forward to some good home cooking

Easter

My brother and I are planning on going home for Easter weekend. I am ready to go now but it's only Tuesday. I need a break from this city we live in and from school. It will be great to be with our family and some friends that we don't get to see too much.

New Years Eve

Well, our New Years Eve was ok. We were expecting more people to be at our apartment but they backed out at the last minute. So my two roommates and I made the most of the evening. We had a lot of good food, played Nintendo Wii and a few other games. Watched a movie and stayed up till 6 a.m. We had a pretty good time considering. Hope you had a Happy New Years Eve.

Home for the Holidays

My brother and I spent about 6 days at my parents home around Christmas and we had such a great time. We saw some friends we hadn't seen for awhile and it was great hanging out with them. We also had a lot of fun at the family get togethers. The time went way to fast and neither of us were ready to head back to our place when Sunday came. Sure hope we can go home again real soon.

Home For Christmas

My brother and I pulled in at our parents home about 2:00 a.m. We drove through some kind of nasty weather but it was so worth getting home. We will be home till Sunday and it's so nice. Mom is going to fix my favorite food tonight which is tacos. It will be a good week at home.

Finals

It has been a very intense couple of weeks with school. I have finals this week and am really needing all the prayers I can get. I've always struggled in math and that is one class I have been fighting with. I have so many people praying for me and I truly believe God is with me in this. Yesterday I started worrying in class and I felt the warmth of Jesus' arms around me and it calmed me down. I am so ready for our Christmas break and can't wait till it's here.
