Homeschooled

I was a homeschooled child from Kindergarten till 8th grade. It was the best and once we started public school I really missed being at home. The school day was much shorter and we didn't have to eat those nasty school lunches. We also didn't have to put up with the bulling that goes on so much in school these days. My mom did a great job at teaching us and we did very well at learning. I have no regrets about being homeschooled, only fond memories.

Reverse Cell Phone Lookup Service

I get so tired of phone calls on my cell phone that I don't recognize. Most of them are someone trying to sell something. I have signed up my number with the National No Call Registry and that has helped a lot but it seems some calls still get through. There is this great Reverse Cell Phone Lookup service for any number whether its listed or not that is now available. You can now track any phone number from a call you receive and get information about the owner of that number to determine if it was a call you really needed to answer. Answering your phone can now be stress free.

Demon Hunter

Demon Hunter is my favorite Christian music artist. They are coming out with a new cd in May and I can't wait to get it. My parents are buying me an autographed version of it for a gift for my college graduation. This type of music probably isn't for a some people because it is pretty hard stuff but I love it and I love the lyrics that they sing. They are positive and give praise to the Lord. They have a pretty sweet website that I visit quite frequently.

Michael Buble

On Friday night I went to a Michael Buble concert in Des Moines, Iowa. That had to be the best concert I have ever attended. He was amazing and the fun part was that he interacted with the audience. He actually got down off the stage and climbed over people to get to a 12 year old girl so that he could have his picture taken with her. He not only sang but also talked a lot during the concert which was pretty cool. He was very entertaining. His opening act was awesome, too.

Family History

I had a project to do for a final in one class that was similar to the family tree.
I had to present it to my class and it was so good. My instructor thought it was a great presentation and I enjoyed giving it. I'm pretty sure I got a good grade.

Prom

It is prom tonight in the small town that my parents live in and some friends and I are going to the Prom Promenade. It's been two years now since I've attended a prom. That had to be one of my most favorite events during high school. We should be able to see many of our friends that we haven't seen for awhile.

Mexican Food

One of my favorite types of food is Mexican food. I love it when my mom makes tacos most of all. I love her homemade enchiladas also. She is planning to make them for our family on Saturday night. I am really looking forward to that.

Make New Friends

To join 3gb community www.3gb.biz would give you an opportunity to keep in touch with all your friends plus make new ones. This is a great site that you can chat daily, if you desire, with everyone you know. You not only can chat but you can hear the latest MP3 hits while you chat and share photos with your friends. I spend a lot of time online and would enjoy being a part of this
very much.

Warmer Weather

Today it hit 70 degrees, finally. It is so windy though that it kind of takes away from wanting to be outside. I realize the wind is bringing in the warmer weather but it would sure be nice if the wind would slow down. It's ridiculous.

TV Shows are Back

Wind Turbines

Wow, we drove over by Pomeroy the other day and it's close to where we use to go to church and I couldn't get over all the wind turbines. They are everywhere. I took a lot of pictures to show my parents cause I know they haven't been over there for quite awhile. It looked so different.

Rockwell City

My brother and I spent the night in Rockwell City on Saturday. My folks were gone so we decided to stay at home and hang out with some friends from around there. It was nice to get out of Dodge for a night and to do something different and besides that we got to eat some of my mom's great tacos.

Ending the School Year

I have so many things to do to finish out this school year. I thought this semester was going to be a breeze but it has ended up being more work then ever. I think this has to be the worst semester yet of my college days. I'll be sure glad when it's over.

Custom Photo Cards

I have received some pretty cool Custom Photo Cards at times and I have also seen my parents get some too. It is pretty nice when they come with pictures on them and have their own personal message in them.
Graduation is just around the corner and when I graduated my mom made custom made photo cards for invitations. They had my graduation pictures on them and added the date, time and place for the reception.
These cards can be used for all occasions not just holidays. Another cool way I have seen them is for birth announcements. I love babies and when these cards come with the baby's picture on it I just melt. They are so adorable and these cards are worth hanging onto because they are so personal.
Maybe you are planning a party for someone special. This would be a great way to create a card with the person's picture on it for everyone to enjoy. Other ideas would be anniversaries, family gatherings, confirmation or just because you want to tell someone you are thinking about them. They are fun to do and make it extra special to give or receive. Next time you plan to send an invitation or greeting card try customizing your own, you'll be glad you did.

March

Well, it looks as if March came in like a lamb and out like a lion. It is colder today and we woke up with the ground white once again. At least it is April now and hopefully we will just get rain for precip. Winter should be pretty much behind us, at least I hope so.
