Roller Skating

My girlfriend took me roller skating in the town she lives in last weekend. I had so much fun. I don't roller skate, I roller blade. We use to have skating parties with the church I use to attend and we had some pretty great times. It's been awhile since I had done something like this.

Fireworks

We had a friend come and stay with us over the 4th of July. We had so much fun and we got to see two sets of amazing fireworks. Last year we went home to my parents place and that was good but this year it was way more fun spending Independence day in the city where we live.

Disney Tickets

It has been so long since I have been to Disney World. I think about it quite often and dream about being able to go back again sometime soon. It would be so much fun to go down there around Thanksgiving or Christmas. What a great way to spend the holidays. Often you see that they have special things going on at those times of the year. I would love to purchase Disney Tickets to be able to see the Christmas parade. That would be the best Christmas present ever. I hope someday I will be able to or even when I have a family of my own to spend Christmas that way.

Elvis

Since we went to Graceland today I have this fascination with learning more about him and his life. I have found some very interesting information about him online. I have read stuff I have never heard before. It makes you wonder if he is still alive. It is said that Elvis faked his death at one time so who knows. My guess is is that he is dead.

New York Restaurants

New York seems like the place to visit. I have always thought it would be fun to take a trip there sometime. It seems they have a lot going on there and to find out exactly what is going on there is to go to the website Villagevoice.com. Paintball

Weekend Plans

Well, the weather guy said we were only going to get one to two inches of snow yesterday and that just wasn't so. I think the state of Iowa got hit pretty hard ranging from 4 to over 8 inches of snow in some areas so of course that ruined my plans for today.
I was suppose to meet up with some friends who are from Omaha and we were going to meet in Des Moines for the day. They are recommending no travel so I guess I am stuck at home for the day. I am very disappointed because I thought it would be fun to do something fun before I start school again on Monday. Oh well, I guess that's just the way it goes when you live in a state like Iowa.

Denver Restaurants

I have been to Denver, Colorado with my parents a couple of times. That is one cool city. I love seeing the Rockie Mountains, it is so beautiful. Denver is a booming town. It is fast paced and a lot going on. The Denver Magazine keeps people up to speed on what is happening in this great city. They tell of the awesome Denver Restaurants that are available for fine cuisine. Many prominent chefs call Denver their home. Dining in Denver is a pleasure for the palate. If you have not visited Denver yet you really need to do so, you will love it.
