Bowling

My girlfriend and I met up with my brother and his friend and did some bowling the other night. It has been such a long time since I've done any bowling and it was so much fun. We actually had the place pretty much to ourselves. We will have to do that again sometime soon, I hope.

Brett Favre

I love the Minnesota Vikings and my dad and brother are big fans too. We were all wondering if Brett Favre was going to sign on again and we were relieved to see he is once again playing for the Vikes. With preseason playing I believe they have won 2 out of 3 of the games which is pretty good. I hope they make it to the super bowl.

Iowa Hawkeyes

The Iowa Hawkeyes are playing this Saturday. I love it when football gets going. This is the official weekend for most college teams to get playing. UNI should be playing too and I am hoping to get to a few games again this year. It is so much fun and the weather is suppose to be amazing.

Wrestling

I am a huge pro wrestler fan! My brother and I have gone to several events and watch it all the time on television. Not too long ago my mom was telling us about our great grandfather who was the heavy weight wrestling champion for Iowa back when he was in high school. We were so excited to hear that. I think that is so awesome! I wish I could have known him and we could have talked about his days when he wrestled.

Next week, my brother and I and a couple of friends are heading down to see a big wrestling event that is usually televised. We have been to so many of these and love it. We usually go early enough to get pictures with some of the wrestlers and get autographs. It should be a lot of fun.

Dangerous Power G3

The sport of paintball looks pretty cool. I have never had a chance to play it but I would love to. Not only does it look like so much fun but the guns that are used look amazing. One of the guns I find pretty cool is the Dangerous Power G3. That is one of my favorite paintball guns and I would have to have one if I got involved in this sport. Vikings

I am a huge Minnesota Vikings fan and rumor has it that Brett Favre may play for the vikings this season. They keep us hanging and won't tell if he's going to play or not. They say he will let everyone know once it is time to play. Hmmm I wonder if he will be part of the Vikings? I sure hope so.

Vikings

The Vikings game on Sunday was a close one. They were behind most of the game and then pulled it off at the end. It was looking very grim and I got pretty excited when they finally won the game. There was a time during the game when the Viking fans were booing their team and that makes me mad when they do that. No matter how the the team is playing the fans need to back them up with support.

Minnesota Vikings

I am a huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings and my dad is too. They played yesterday and the game was so close. My dad couldn't get it on his tv so I kept calling him with updates on how the game was going. It came down to the wire and I thought it was going to go into overtime. The other team, the Colts, kicked a field goal and won the game by 3 points. That was not cool. I was pretty disappointed.

Iowa Hawkeyes

The big game between the Hawks and the Cyclones was today. I'm a fan of the Hawks and was so glad to see they had won the game. Everyone gets so excited about this game each year and there is so much about it on television. I'm just glad the Hawks finally beat the Cyclones. This is a good day in football.

Shawn Johnson

I watched Shawn Johnson on television the other day. She was in Des Moines and their was a huge crowd at the Wells Fargo Arena. She seems like such a down to earth person. She couldn't get over that all those people were there for her. She is such a tiny little person and an amazing athlete. It is so great that she has come from my home state of Iowa.
