My Brother's Birthday

Last week we got together and celebrated my brother's birthday. My mom recently sent some of the pictures that were taken that night and I really like the one that is posted in this post. It is of me, my brother and my girlfriend, Erikka. We had a lot of fun celebrating.

60th Anniversary

This coming Saturday evening my mom's side of the family is all getting together to celebrate my Grandpa and Grammy's 60th wedding anniversary. We are going to the Pizza Ranch and are getting the party room. I've heard that cousins and relatives are going to be there that I haven't seen in several years. Congratulations to my grandparents!

My Parents

My parents are planning to come over on Friday. They want to meet Sarah and just hang out some. I think they are going to stop by Little Cesars and pick up some pizza for all of us to indulge in. I look forward to seeing them.

Family Reunion

This past Saturday we had a family reunion on my dad's side. I always look forward to this a lot. We all get a long so well and have so much fun. Of course there is always quite a bit of delicious food so none of us go hungry. It was a great day and I look forward to next year's reunion.

Easter

This Sunday my folks are coming to our place for Easter. We are going to attend church together which will be great. I love it when they come to our church and they love it too. I'm sure we will probably go out to lunch somewhere afterwards before they head for home. It should be a very nice day to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.

Chocolate Pie

Today is Thanksgiving and my mom made a delicious feast for us. I am still way too full to even think about eating again but I know later I will be eating my favorite pie and that is Chocolate pie. My mom made a very large one so I plan on having a very large piece of it later. It looks scrumptious.

Thanksgiving Break

It's been awhile since I've written on my blog. I've been busy keeping up with my school work and that takes a lot of my time. Now I have a week on for Thanksgiving break. My brother and I are heading home for a few days to spend Thanksgiving with our parents. We always look forward to going home and we love the home cookin my mom makes.

Norwegian Pancakes

Last night when my brother and I got home to my parents, my mom had dinner ready and we had Norwegian pancakes. The house smelled so good and the food tasted even better. We didn't get a chance to have them when it was my brother's birthday so my mom made them for us last night. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Saturday Night

Tonight my brother and I are going out to celebrate his birthday with three of our cousins, and a couple of friends. We are going to eat Chinese and then head to the late movie. It has been a few weeks since we've been home and have gotten to hang out with these guys so it should be a pretty good time.

Home

Today is my brother's 24th birthday. Tomorrow he and I are heading home. We are going to me our parents for supper and then head home. There we will celebrate my brother's birthday together. I think my mom is baking a white cake with chocolate frosting and we will have Peanut Butter Panic ice cream. I can't wait. I could have some right now. We will be at our parents house till Sunday and then we will go back. I am so looking forward to some time away.

Subway

Today my dad took my brother and myself out to Subway. I enjoy the subs there and you can get a pretty good deal there too. I like my sandwiches toasted but not as long as they normally do, it dries them out. They have a lot of good choices to choose from.

Supper

Not sure what I want to eat for supper tonight. It would be nice to be home right now and have my mom make some of her amazing tacos. They are my favorite and I could have some right now and for dessert have some chocolate cake. I look forward to the next time we can go home and eat some of my mom's good home cooking.

Family Reunion

Saturday we had a family reunion. Many of my cousins were there and some of our relatives came as far as Tennessee and Texas. It was so much fun and of course there was great food. We played volleyball, had a bonfire, and shot of some fireworks. It was an all around great day.

Last Day in Memphis

Well I think we are heading out of Memphis tomorrow. We will travel to Little Rock. I imagine we will spend a night there and then the next day we are going to get together with my cousin who lives there. We will probably go out to eat and then start heading north towards home.

Memorial Day Weekend

On Memorial Day weekend we had some friends over and we barbecued New York strips, burgers and hot dogs. It was so amazing how well everything tasted. On holiday weekends like this, especially in the warmer weather, it is fun to grill out and be with friends.

Home

We are heading home tomorrow to stay with our parents for about 5 days. My brother hasn't been home for awhile and I have but we are both ready to go home again. My mom always feeds us well and we have a pretty good time seeing friends we don't see much. It should be a good time.

Weeks Over

Well, the week is over staying at my parents house. It was a good week and seemed like I had been there a long time. I ate well, kept fairly busy and just enjoyed a break from where I live. I think I am ready to go back now. It will be good to see my brother again.

Chinese

Tonight my mom and I are going to go out to eat and have Chinese food. There is a great buffet place that has both Chinese and American food. It's pretty reasonable too. It has been awhile since I have had any so it should taste pretty good.

Weekend

My parents came to our place this past weekend. We all went to church together and there was an amazing service. It is such an awesome church. We then went to Perkins and had lunch. I got a breakfast meal and strawberry cheesecake. It was soooo good and we had a great time.

Easter Weekend

I am about ready to hit the road with my brother and head home for the Easter weekend. It is going to be so great to be home and away from this town I live in. Getting together with friends and family will be a nice change. I'm also looking forward to some good home cooking
