Shawn Johnson

I watched Shawn Johnson on television the other day. She was in Des Moines and their was a huge crowd at the Wells Fargo Arena. She seems like such a down to earth person. She couldn't get over that all those people were there for her. She is such a tiny little person and an amazing athlete. It is so great that she has come from my home state of Iowa.

Security

Last night I attended a meeting for my new job. I am going to be working for security for the college I am attending. It sounds like it is going to be an amazing job. We can choose the events we want to work at and there are going to be a couple of concerts that I think would be fun to work at. Also, the games would be pretty cool. I can't wait to get started.

Today was my first day of classes at UNI. I was pretty nervous because this is a much larger school then the one I attended last year. My day went ok, I'm dreading my math class. I was hoping I was done with math but I guess not. This school will take some getting use to but I know I will like it once I get into it more.

Back in high school I was out with some friends and it happened so quick, I smashed right into a light pole. Luckily no one was hurt but wow was my car messed up. Car Issues

Once again I am having trouble with a part on my car that has been replace two times already. It is in the steering wheel column and what happens is it gets hot and smells like something is burning, then I lose my headlights. My dad had it checked out and we thought it was ok but after I got it back I was out one night and lost my lights again, which isn't good in the pitch black darkness. Anyway, I hope it gets fixed right this time.

Storm

Wow, there is a major storm going on right now. The rain is slapping hard against the windows and the thunder is rolling. We are even getting pebble size hail. It's crazy out there. The lightning is flashing constantly. We haven't had a storm like this since June. I hope it lets up soon cause my car is sitting out in it.

I have mentioned before that I am a huge fan of Demon Hunter. This is a hard rock Christian band. I have every cd they have out and would like to share this video with you. This song is from their album "Storm the Gates of Hell" and it is called Fading Away. I hope you enjoy it.

Demon Hunter

Demon Hunter is probably my favorite Christian band. They sing pretty hard music but I love it. I have been waiting since May to receive my signed album from them. The place where I ordered from ran out of signed copies and are now waiting for the band to sign some more. I sure hope I get it soon.

All Alone and All Alone 2

My brother recently wrote scripts for two short films. They are called All Alone and All Alone 2. The first one has been entered into a contest and I would love to see it win. The second one was finished last week and comments are that it is better then the first one and that one is good. I play the scary guy in the movie. It has been fun to make and I would like to share them both with you in my post.
